A graphic novel in which a runaway orphan becomes the unlikely savior of a technology-fueled, bio-depleting dystopia. The excerpt picks up after the main character Dale is apprehended by two of the mysterious raiders, waking up in a dilapidated industrial holding chamber and setting out to find his small peculiar friend.
